[ Amber half regrets the offer already, because there's no logical benefit to speaking about Hei. It won't bring him back.
Even so, any reason to distract her from her thoughts is better than none when her well-being is concerned. So here she is, seated on the floor by the largest windows with weary eyes planted on the stars. She's quiet, muted somehow, but forty minutes was enough time to make herself seem presentable, albeit with hair looped in a bun to hide its poor state. It doesn't matter anyway. ]

[ Amber knows it too, but finds herself without the energy to care. She remembers looking, and feeling, much better than thin back when they were stranded in the middle of the Amazon. But a lack of will is more detrimental than a lack of tools and resources. Either way she's glad that Havoc's making no mention of it. ]

[Havoc in contrast looks quite put together if not rather rural in a long dun skirt and cream blouse. Never mind the multiple knives hidden on her person- just in case. She'll ignore Amber's lack of personal care (more like, she ignores the implication that she's so affected by Hei's death as that), and offer her the distraction she apparently needed.]

[ Indulging in sweets to drown her sorrows, why not? She wanders away from Havoc without as much as a gesture and heads toward one of the food counters, picking out a tub of butter-loaded popcorn for her company and a sweet one for herself. ]

[ Amber buys herself time from having to reply to Havoc by stuffing her mouth with popcorn. A little rude, perhaps, but things like manners and other social constructs are only useful around humans who expect them. Without a word, she saunters toward one of the viewing rooms, walking slowly so Havoc can follow.

[ And he is, eventually. Had to stop to collect some things, and for him, and it speaks something of his comfort on the ship, he's not quite as geared up as he usually is, physically if not mentally. A few less weapons, and at least the heavy coat gone.

[Havoc certainly isn't offended. In fact, it gives her a nice opening to take her own, less stuffing and more reasonable bite of popcorn.
