['Soon,' it turns out, being relative. Even discounting the creative path he's forced to take to keep away from more of those harpies, it takes him longer than he'd care to admit to figure out that tracking fucntion. He'll conveniently blame the chaotic surroundings for that.
But he does finally close in on her, compact gauss in hand and newly-upgraded medicine box on his back.]
[ Being a natural busybody on top of being part of Red Team, Amber has had more experience with using the tracker, though she doesn't bother moving to find him despite his delay. It's not like the behemoth's leaving anytime soon by the looks of it.
By the time Ginko arrives, she's visibly exhausted with enough black blood staining her hair that it's turned a much darker shade of green. Gross. But she's miraculously uninjured despite small scrapes and bruises here and there and her focus hasn't wavered from her two comrades fighting in the distance. Ginko gets a nod but not a smile at his greeting. ]
[He tries very hard not to focus too much on the gigantic creature looming over them. It had been a very wise decision to seek out help in this matter, and he has to applaud Amber for her willingness to get near it, exhausted as she appeared. Yeah, he was going to owe her big time.
Needless to say he doesn't need to be told twice to stay put. He slips the rectangular box from his back, placing it down in front of himself and opening it up.]
[ Amber's not doing this to be generous. There's logic in seeking to find out more about the titan in finding a way to kill it or at least deter it enough to leave. So far, no one of the attacks have worked in slowing down the flood of scourges at all. And if they live to see the end of this battle, well, the specimen could still prove valuable. That she gets a random boon out of it is just a bonus.
Ginko doesn't even have to stay put for long. First comes the eerie red spark in her eyes before an electric blue halo surrounds her body, the tell-tale signs of a Contractor activating her power. But the next thing he sees, and barely a second later, is Amber then standing over him with a tentacle piece the size of a human head skewered on her knife, still catching her breath as if from a manic sprint. She drops it into his box with a disgusting squelch. ]
[If there was even the slightest possibility that he could unravel some of the mysteries about this thing with a little research, he would give it a shot. Fighting was out of the question for him, but this? This he could manage.
He can't help the startled step back he takes once she puts her power to use. Seeing it (or... not, as it were) in action was rather awe-inspiring, in its subtle way. Here and there in the blink of an eye.
He stares down at the chunk of tentacle with something of a grimace.]
[ Time and space. Stretching the passage of time, that is creating a vacuum between two moments, allows her to traverse distances in a way that seems almost like teleportation. Only more useful, because she can complete tasks during the space when the seconds don't pass. That makes her near invulnerable against even opponents like the behemoth that causes all things it touches to decay.
But she's human aside from that one power, and she needs time to catch her breath, resting both hands on her thighs as she huffs. ]
[Ginko can only imagine the sort of toll such a power could take on its user, especially in instances of battle such as this. Good for getting out of a bind, and especially for quick, stealthy work as she'd just displayed, but he gets the feeling one could easily overwork themselves with it if they're not careful.
He shuts the box, expression settling into something more neutral.]
Anything. [After she'd gone out of her way to help him, it was the least he could do.]
[ It's a blessing that the mind of a Contractor doesn't easily register the mental toll of battle. Exhaustion is only in her limbs, in the way her head's beginning to spin from fatigue, but playing with the very fabric of reality never disturbed her much. As soon as she can catch her breath, she can keep going. ]
[Hopefully this battle would be seeing its end soon, or they'd all be reaching their limits before long. He just had to pray that this little endeavor of his would be worth it in the end.
The request is an easy enough one to grant, at least.]

I'll find some way to make it up to you. Consider this an IOU.
[Something he is surely going to regret saying.]
